Making farmer cigars in Cuba

Viñales is one of the most peaceful and stunning places of Cuba. Within its valleys of “mogotes” lie huge tobacco plantations. There, farmers plant and grow tobacco leaves that are later used by the government to make cigars. Out of their fields, only a small percentage of the harvest is left with the farmers. Each of them has a “family” or personal recipe. This man was showing us how to make a cigar – a farmer cigar – in a hut within his fields. It was incredible. 2nd-edited-photo-1-of-1
