Pigeons and statues

There’s a lovely garden in the middle of Angra do Heroismo in Terceira, Azores. The garden is called Duke of Terceira Garden and it has roughly 62m of elevation with stairs going up and plants and trees all along.

Near the top, there is a statue with a fountain thar used to serve as irrigation for the gardens and acted as a water tank.

We only saw it as a beautiful place to relax.  Pigeons seemed to agree…
